Chicks@Lunch supports the Animal Welfare League of Queensland Inc. which is a non-profit charitable organisation, dependent upon donations and the fund-raising efforts of voluntary workers and groups such as ours.
Donations, legacies and bequests are deeply appreciated and ensure the continuation of care for the animals.
The Animal Welfare League sanctuary at Coombabah gives protection and care to unwanted and injured animals whilst waiting for a new home. The sanctuary provides:
* Kennel facilities for the care of dogs and puppies
* Cat houses for the care of cats and kittens
* Veterinary treatment, care and desexing of animals
